Yoga Instructor Training Program
Re:Vive Yoga Training nurtures your natural curiosity and desire to learn and grow as you shift from practitioner to teacher by putting YOU at the center of the action. As a former classroom teacher, I designed this program to be student-centered, with multiple modalities of participation for a robust learning experience. You’ll never find yourself passively participating– you’ll be discussing, writing, creating, questioning, analyzing, practicing, teaching, working, and growing every step of the way. You’ll immerse yourself in all aspects of the practice, from technique and sequencing to philosophy and self-study. You’ll emerge from this training not only ready to teach full vinyasa flow yoga classes, but you’ll also leave with more of yourself! Our training is aligned with the most comprehensive Yoga Alliance standards and will give you everything you need to launch a successful career as a yoga professional and to explore your yoga practice at a new level of depth and understanding.
Yoga teacher training changes lives. Truly. It changed the trajectory of my own life forever, and I’m forever grateful for the enriching experience of my own training and I’m beyond excited and honored to come along for the ride on your journey into your practice and see where it takes you!
Pilates Instructor Training
I am a Pilates instructor today because I took classes to help my anxiety. Six months later I looked at how my body changed and it was just a side benefit to the mental one that I received. Many people come to Pilates for different reasons, others find something more in their Pilates journey and look for next steps. Some love the workout, and others want to help those in chronic pain. People may be interested in being sports specific. The interests are endless! Whatever your’s is, the first step is Pilates Training.
I had no idea I would be so intrigued with human movement like I am today. I have studied people in their movement patterns but also was in tune to their life situations that would contribute to the way they feel and move. Personally, for me, a perfect day in the studio would be a few group classes along with private sessions sprinkled in. Why? I love choreography and in classes I get to tap into that more with the challenge of knowing the issues in the room while creating a great workout for all. On the other side, I love teaching private sessions because all of them vastly differ. Each client has different needs and modifications, so it’s invigorating to teach to the needs of that day. I also love people and helping others become their best from the inside out. That is what Pilates did for me, why wouldn’t I want to pass it on?
If you have thought about becoming a Pilates Instructor, know that it can change your life and keep you reaching for more in the years to come beyond the completion of your initial training. I cannot tell you how many workshops and continuing education hours I have taken. At Re:Gen our Pilates Instructor Program is unique in many ways.
1. It is important to us that you have all the information and we answer any questions you have before committing to the program. Whether meeting over coffee or over the phone we will take the time with you to help you decide if this is the right fit for you.
2. We offer an in house apprenticeship. This means that all of our trainees have the opportunity to do all their hours at Re:Gen. This is the most important part of the program since you will apply your knowledge on actual people. Teaching pilates is more than a workout. There are many things to consider while teaching clients. No one session is ever exactly the same if you are teaching to the bodies in front of you.
3. At Re:Gen, we are proud to offer our state-of-the-art facility and our Instructors in the facility to learn from as well. Many programs are weekend modules, only to leave you with figuring out where to get hours and no one to hold you accountable to them. Our personalized experience is what will help make you a great pilates instructor.
